High Technology Ceramics Timepiece Presents New Works
Coco Chanel often says that “fashion is transient, only style is permanent”. Chanel has now presented a new definition of delicacy of the Première watch collections using high technology ceramics, creating a graceful new look only belongs to Chanel with the brand’s everlasting black and white.

After more than a hundred years’ development, Chanel has become a giant empire, whose products include ready-to-wear, Haute Couture, jewelry, cosmetics products and watches.
Première, Chanel’s first wrist watch is introduced in 1987. The inspiration of its octagonal sapphire crystal watchcase comes from the bottle cover of Chanel No.5 perfume and the shape of Place Vendome. The slim quadrate needle tells the time on the black enamel watch plate, connecting with a leather watch band and K gold chain.
In 2008, the high technology ceramics, an advanced and noble material has been used on the High Technology Première Ceramic Watch collections. This series has followed the octagonal watchcase and slim quadrate needle, redefines the delicacy, elegance and feminine lines, and thus brings out a graceful overall image.
The two watches of this new Première Ceramic series both have a black version and a white version, which are high technology ceramics with stainless steel and diamond, and high technology ceramics with 18K platinum and diamond respectively. Just as Chanel once said, that “black represents everything, so does white. They are beauties amid beauties, bringing out the best of each other.”
